It has been reported that Virgil Abloh and Nike completed their celebrated “The Ten” sneaker collaboration in a quick 10 months. And as with virtually any design process, products change and evolve, as some ideas are left by the wayside.

This was indeed the case with Abloh’s project, as he recently unveiled unreleased Nike and Jordan samples during last week’s lecture at Harvard’s Graduate School of Design. There, the designer showed actual samples from the collaborative process, including a Chuck Taylor with a large Swoosh alongside, his first Air Jordan 1 design, and a previously-unseen Air Force 1.

You can get a glimpse at Abloh’s “The Ten” throwaways above, and be on the lookout for more from Virgil and Nike in 2018 as new colorways are on the way.

In related news, the OFF-WHITE designer’s Nike Air Jordan 1 has been dubbed the “Shoe of the Year.”
