The adidas Köln makes a return this month after a ~30 year hiatus and we're over the moon with the news here at ER HQ.
The Köln (Cologne) forms part of the ever popular City series. Created by adidas in the early 70's with the "Athen" being the first of the shoes named after various cities around the world, each having a colourway relating to the city in some form.
Returning in a 1:1 reissue based on the original made in Yugoslavia version this royal blue suede upper, white stripes and classic gum sole colourway are what make this shoe a classic. The OG made in Romania and Yugoslavia are extremely sought after by those who collect "terrace" shoes.
The Köln is released on November 10th as a general release shoe so the numbers should be quite high although we expect this to fly off the shelves due to the time we've been waiting for a reissue.
Rumours are rife of a "Dublin" and "Berlin" reissue any time soon so as soon as we know anything we'll keep you updated.
If you manage to pick these up be sure to check out our long lasting protector or alternatively drop them into our SneakerLaundry at 11 Royal Exchange Square, Glasgow.
