Unless you've been living under a rock these past few weeks you'll be aware that the adidas Berlin is making a comeback.
The low profile suede "city" shoe that was originally produced in Yugoslavia and then later in Romania has only seen one original colourway reissue over the last 30 years, way back in 2003. Although the Solebox consortium gave a nod to the OG on the inner lining.
The 2003 model was released alongside the Dublin however both were much bulkier than we're used to but this 2018 reissue looks much closer to the OG Yugoslavian model.
You'll notice the gold foil on the side profile reads upside down... This was a fault on the Yugoslavian models and adidas have kept this in the reissue to keep it as close to 1:1 as possible. Nice touch.
These are a general release however expect them to fly like the Koln did. I wouldn't hang about...
Priced at £85 and released on Thursday 1st February the adidas Berlin is a welcome reissue and we hope to see more of the same that share this silouette.
